Michael Malone made the decision while on a period of extended leave that began late last year. Mr. Malone founded iiNet in his parents' garage in Perth in 1993. David Buckingham will continue to act as his chief executive until a new boss is found after an international search for Mr. Malone's replacement2.
The Finance Sector3 Union says wealth management company AMP is about to slash4 hundreds of jobs in its Melbourne office. The Union's secretary says the company's Dockland office will be reduced from five floors to one. The jobs are expected to be moved to India.
