 Leading on news this morning:A series of mistakes and contradictions are making it harder for the government to sell its budget today. Prime Minister Tony Abbot is playing down suggestions that the government is considering drug test for the unemployed¹. The Education Minister Christ Pine has been caught up contradicting his own department website about university favory* payments. 

 

 

A search resumed this morning for a group of bushwalkers who've gone missing in the the Blue Mountains, west of Sydney. The five men and two women had been hiking on a tracking *kotunba known as the golden steer* case. Earline* was raised last night when they failed to return. An investigation² is underway into a balcony collapse³ at a house north of Perth that injured five people. Ten people were on the balcony of the beach front house at Lancelen, when it gave away late yesterday. One person suffered a broken leg, two others have suspected spinal⁴ injuries. 

 

 

Melbourne police are investigating information about a possible siting of a missing school girl, * on the day she disappeared. The 13 year old vanished on the way to school three years ago today. Police have been told someone saw a young teenager of Asian appearance in the back of station way * on the morning that found one missing. Jetstar has cancelled all flights in and out of Bali as an ash cloud caused by an erupting volcano of Indonesian northeast coast, continues to cause problems. The * volcano erupted on Friday. Flights in and out of Darwin have now resumed after been cancelled at the weekend.
