 　　Well, from robin¹ roberts to Channing Tatum，the biggest stars on the planet here in new orleans. For last night’s big game, including the reigning² People's sexiest man alive, and assumed to be dad. Channing Tatum has a new movie coming out, and a new bar right here in New Orleans on bourbon street no less. That’s where we met for a little catchup.

　　He's a movie star. Dubbed³ "people's" sexiest man alive. And now he's opening a place for friends and fans. A new bar on Bourbon Street, called saints and sinners.

　　Is this, was it a labor⁴ of love? Is this something you can always have percolating⁵? You and your buddies⁶?

　　I don't think anybody can ever have the idea of a bar on Bourbon. That’s just absolutely insanity⁷.

　　Insanity, perhaps, or maybe it's Channing Tatum's gulf⁸ coast roots coming through. I grew up in past mississippi for about five years. It’s about 45 minutes east of here. Like, this was the biggest city I had ever been in, you know, with people everywhere, people throwing beads⁹ and girls doing insanity stuff. I was just like, that's just what i want to do when I grow up.

　　Of course, the 32-year-old actor grew up to do a whole lot more than just that. He's doing well. His latest role is in Steven Soderbergh’s "side effects" a psychological thriller¹⁰ out this friday, which also happens to feature yours truly as, what whatelse, a news anchor.

　　I said to steven, I said let's get that channing fellow. And Perhaps, Tatum’s most famous body, he’s turned a male stripper in a little film called "Magic Mike”.( Magic Mike. Magic Mike. Here’s Magic Mike representing, everybody. )My co-anchor, Lara Spencer, and I had an afternoon show this summer “Good Afternoon, America.” I would like to think we single handedly gave you 40% of the Magic Mike box office receipts.
