These words belong to Elie Wiesel. He is a Jew. And he is a survivor².

He lived in Europe during the Second World War.

The German Nazis³ killed about six million Jews in Europe. This was the Holocaust⁴.

Elie survived this time.

He says there are no words to describe these terrible events. But he will not be silent.
