Tropical storm Michael tore across Georgia and headed towards the Carolinas on Thursday morning. The storm was a powerful category 4 hurricane when it smashed into the Florida panhandle on Wednesday.

Michael is blamed for at least one death in Florida and another in Georgia. Search and rescue crews are expected to look for people trapped in storm debris¹ in hard-hit areas.

President Trump² went to Erie, Pennsylvania to support Republicans running for the House and Senate. He also criticized Pennsylvanian Senator Bob Casey for his vote against Supreme³ Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh.

And New York State Limousine⁴ Company operator left court after posting 150,000 dollars bond. Nauman Hussain is charged with criminally negligent⁵ homicide in the crash that killed 20 people.
