 　　The Reindeer¹ Need A New Pasture² 驯鹿需要一片新牧场

　　A few⁴ days after Ivan had⁵ driven for the first time, his father said⁶, "Tomorrow we must move. 伊万完成他首次驾驶驯鹿的几天以后，爸爸说明天我们必须搬家了。

　　The reindeer have eaten all the moss⁸ around here, and we shall⁹ have to find a new pasture for them." 驯鹿已经吃完了附近所有的苔藓，我们要为它们找一片新的牧场。

　　Ivan was¹⁰ very glad to hear this, because he liked to move. 伊万听到这个很高兴，因为他喜欢搬家。

　　And he understood¹¹ why his family had to do this several¹² times every year. 而且他明白他的家为什么每年都要搬上好几次。

　　Even¹³ if he was only a young boy, he knew that they must look for a new pasture as³ soon as the reindeer needed it. 尽管他还是个小男孩，但他知道一旦驯鹿需要新的牧场，他们就要去找。
