“汉服热”彰显传统文化之精深

What do you wear when you take a trip? Most of us choose comfortable clothes like T-shirts and jeans.

去旅行你会穿什么样的衣服？大多数人都会选择T恤、牛仔裤一类的休闲服饰。

But Wang Tata, a post-1990s office clerk in Shanghai, is different. She prefers to wear hanfu, which literally² means “Han clothing”.

但上海的90后白领王塔塔（音）却有着不同的选择。她更倾向于穿汉服。

“I’ve worn hanfu in the Tengger Desert in northwestern China, at the beach in Pingtan, Fujian province, in the Great Tang All Day Mall in Xi’an, Shaanxi province, as well as in the Forbidden City in Beijing.

“我在西北的腾格尔沙漠、福建平潭的海滩、陕西西安的大唐不夜城以及北京的故宫都穿过汉服。

Wherever the scenery matches, I wear hanfu,” she told China Daily.

只要与周围的景色相衬，我就会穿汉服。”她在接受《中国日报》采访时如此表示。

Wang is not the only one who turns to the traditional clothing.

喜欢传统服饰的并不只有王塔塔一人。

According to data from people.cn, Chinese hanfu consumers surpassed 2 million in 2018, triple the number from 2017.

人民网的数据显示，2018年中国汉服消费者超过200万，这一数字是2017年的3倍。

A recent report from Guangzhou-based consultancy iiMedia Research estimated that by the end of this year, the number of people using hanfu products in China will reach 6.89 million, with total sales expected to reach 10.16 billion yuan.

广州咨询公司艾媒网近期的一份报告显示，截止今年年底，中国汉服消费者规模将达到689万人，汉服销售额将达到101.6亿元。

Why has the traditional clothing made a comeback in recent years?

为何近年来传统服饰得以回潮呢？

For Qingzhi, a law student from Communication University of China, wearing hanfu to class every day gives her inspiration.

对于中国传媒大学法律系学生青栀（音）而言，每天穿着汉服去上课都会带给她灵感。

With a history of more than 3,000 years, hanfu has had different styles in different dynasties.

拥有3000多年历史的汉服在不同的朝代有着不同的风格。

Qingzhi said she liked to explore various outfits³ within her hanfu collection.

青栀表示，她喜欢在自己的汉服衣橱中探索各式各样的穿搭。

By matching the clothing with modern accessories, she can find a unique look.

现代配饰与传统汉服的搭配能让她找到一种独一无二的风格。

“It gives me endless inspiration every day. I can discover a new self every single day,” Qingzhi told CGTN.

“这每天都会为我带来无尽的灵感。我每天都会发现全新的自己，”青栀在接受中国国际电视台采访时如此表示。

Unlike Qingzhi, Wan¹ Yue, a mother of two, became a hanfu enthusiast⁴ for the sense of community.

与青栀不同，已是两个孩子母亲的万月（音）成为汉服爱好者是出于一种社群感。

As someone belonging to the Han ethnic⁵ group, she said that she has always been eager to wear clothing that is representative of her community.

作为汉族人，她表示，自己向来热衷于穿代表自己所属群体的服饰。

“Seeing people around me dressing⁶ up in their traditional garments, I have also often wished to find a dress that depicts⁷ the culture of my ethnic group,” she said.

“看到周围的人都穿着各自的传统服饰，我也常常希望能够找到体现自己民族文化的衣服，”她说道。

Wan not only wears hanfu in her daily life, but also learns about the culture and history behind the clothing.

万月不光会在平日里身着汉服，还会学习汉服背后的文化及历史。

She told China Daily that each suit has its own cultural and historic background and learning about them gives her a better understanding of traditional culture.

她向《中国日报》表示，每套服饰都有着各自的文化和历史背景，学习这些知识能让她更好地理解传统文化。

“With the rapid development of China’s economy, people have gained more cultural self-confidence, and attention is shifting to the rejuvenation⁸ of national culture,” China Today noted⁹.

“随着中国经济的快速发展，人们表现出更多的文化自信，民族文化复兴受到更多关注，”《今日中国》杂志指出。

“As a symbol of Chinese aesthetics¹⁰, hanfu contributes to quietly motivating a re-emerging Chinese fashion style. ”

“汉服作为中式美学的象征，在潜移默化中为促进国潮风复兴做出了贡献。”
