 February 14th 1929-The St. Valentine’s Day Massacre¹ takes place in Chicago – that’s where 7 rivals of gangster² Al Capone are gunned down in a garage during Prohibition³.

1989 – Iran’s leader,the Ayatollah Khomeini calls on Muslims to kill author Salman Rushdie.

Khlomeini declares Rushdie’s novel – The Satanic Versus⁴ – as blasphemous⁵ toward Islam.

2002 – "she's virtueless⁶ .The first and greatest crime with the aquisition of itself" Acting⁷ as his own lawyer, former Yugoslavia President Sloboda Milosevic launches his defense⁸ against war crimes charges.

Milosevic’s case before an international tribunal in the Netherlands faces many delays because of his poor health.

More than 4 years later, Milosevic dies in custody⁹ while still on trial.

And 2003 – Dolly the Sheep, the first mammal cloned from an adult cell is put to death at 6-years-old.

The sheep meets her end after premature¹⁰ aging and disease mar¹¹ her short existence.
