　　A:Is Ms. Amico in?

　　A：阿米科夫人在吗？

　　B:Yes,I'm Ms. Amico. Who's speaking?

　　B：我就是。你是谁呀？

　　A:This is Mr. Teppler. From the newspaper I know you have a used house to sell, don't you?

　　A：我是特普勒先生。我从报纸上看到你有一套二手房要出售，是吗？

　　B:Yes.

　　B：是的。

　　A:How big is the living space?

　　A：房子使用面积有多大？

　　B:About 2,000 square feet.

　　B：大约两千平方英尺。

　　A:How many bedrooms and baths do you have?

　　A：有几间卧室和卫浴？

　　B:Three bedrooms and two baths.

　　B：三室两卫。

　　A:When was It built?

　　A：房子是哪年建的？

　　B:In 1990.

　　B：1990年。

　　A:May I have a look?

　　A：我可以去看看吗？

　　B:Of course.

　　B：当然可以。

　　A:Can you arrange¹ a single room to me this semester²? My present roommate is too talkative and snores³ as soon as his head touches the pillow⁴.

　　A：这学期您能帮我安排一间单人房吗？我现在的室友话太多而且头一碰到枕头就开始打鼾。

　　B:Let me take a look if there is any single room left. Oh,yes, there are some. But you have to pay an extra 50 dollars then.

　　B：让我先看看有没有空的单人间。哦，还有一些。但是你必须多支付50美元。

　　A:No problem.

　　A：没问题。

　　B:OK, fill out the form first...

　　B：好的，先填一下这张表格。

　　A:I want to buy a used house with two bedrooms. Where can I get the information about it?

　　A：我想买一套两居室的二手房，从哪儿可以得到这方面的信息呢？

　　B:You can buy a newspaper.

　　B：你可以买一份报纸查查。

　　A:What's the name of the newspaper?

　　A：什么报纸？

　　B:The Recycler Newspaper. It has almost everything -used houses, furniture, sporting equipment, etc.

　　B：叫《二手货》，上面什么信息都有，二手房、二手家具、二手运动器材等。

　　A:But how can I be sure all these things are still for sale?

　　A：但我怎么才可以确定这些东西还在卖呢？

　　B:The Recycler is pretty popular,so it's pretty much up to date.

　　B：《二手货》是一份挺流行的报纸，所以那上面的信息挺新。

　　A:I see. Thanks a lot.

　　A：我明白了，多谢。

1 arrange   

vt.安排，整理，计划，改编(乐曲)；vi.协商，计划

打呼噜，打鼾( snore的第三人称单数 )

n.枕头；枕垫；vt.作…的枕头；垫；枕于；vi.靠在枕上
