A series of bomb attacks in Bagdad have killed at least 36 people and injured more than 70. Hotels in the central of the city that are popular with westerners were targeted. At least two of the explosions were caused by suicide bombers5 in cars.
And an international conference focusing on the long-term rebuilding task in Haiti is taking place in the Canadian city of Montreal. Ministers and delegates from 20 countries as well as the United Nations and the World Bank are taking part in the discussions.
