　　Viserys bristled¹. “Guard your tongue, Mormont, or I’ll have it out.  韦赛里斯怒道："莫尔蒙，你讲话最好注意点，否则小心我把你舌头给割了。

　　I am no lesser² man, I am the rightful Lord of the Seven Kingdoms. The dragon does not beg.” 我可不是什么地位较低的人，我乃堂堂七国之君，真龙传人是不会卑躬屈膝的。"

　　Ser Jorah lowered his eyes respectfully. Illyrio smiled enigmatically and tore a wing from the duck.  乔拉爵士恭敬地垂下眼睛。伊利里欧神秘地笑笑，撕下一只鸭翅膀，

　　Honey and grease ran over his fingers and dripped down into his beard as he nibbled³ at the tender meat.  咬了起来，胡子上沾满蜂蜜和油汁。

　　There are no more dragons, Dany thought, staring at her brother, though she did not dare say it aloud. 真龙已经不复存在了，丹妮怔怔地看着哥哥，却不敢大声说出来。

　　Yet that night she dreamt of one. Viserys was hitting her, hurting her.  然而那天晚上，她却梦见了一只龙。梦中韦赛里斯又在打她、欺负她。

　　She was naked, clumsy with fear. She ran from him, but her body seemed thick and ungainly.  她浑身赤裸，害怕得手足无措。她想从他身边跑开，身体却不听使唤。

　　He struck her again. She stumbled and fell. “You woke the dragon,” he screamed as he kicked her.  他再度出手，把她打得踉跄倒地。"你唤醒了睡龙之怒，"他一边尖叫一边对她拳打脚踢，

　　“You woke the dragon, you woke the dragon.” Her thighs⁴ were slick with blood. She closed her eyes and whimpered.  "你唤醒了睡龙，你唤醒了睡龙。"她的大腿淌满鲜血，正闭眼呻吟，

　　As if in answer, there was a hideous⁵ ripping sound and the crackling of some great fire.  只听一阵狰狞的撕裂，接着是一片雄浑的大火劈啪，仿佛有谁在回应。

　　When she looked again, Viserys was gone, great columns of flame rose all around, and in the midst of them was the dragon.  睁眼一看，韦赛里斯已经不见踪影，四周升起巨大火柱，火柱中间有一头巨龙。

　　It turned its great head slowly. When its molten eyes found hers, she woke, shaking and covered with a fine sheen of sweat.  它缓缓转头，那对宛如熔岩的眼睛与她目光相接。这时她便醒了，醒来时浑身颤抖，冷汗直流。

　　She had never been so afraid 她这辈子从没这么害怕过
