被动语态（二）

英语的被动意义除了用及物动词的被动语态形式表示外，还可以用其他方法来表示，就像在汉语中并非一定要用“被”字来表示被动意义一样。以下的四种情况即为主动形式表示被动。

1.wash, clean, cook, look, cut, sell, read, wear, feel, draw, write, sell, drive 可用主动形式表示被动

The book sells well. 这本书销路好。

This knife cuts easily. 这刀子很好用。

2.blame, remain, keep, rent, build 可用主动形式表示被动

Much work remains⁷. 还有很多工作没做。

3.need, require, want, worth (形容词)后的动名词用主动形式

The door needs repairing. 相当于The door needs to be repaired. 门需要修了。

This room needs cleaning. 这房间应该打扫一下。

This book is worth reading. 这本书值得一读。

4.特殊结构中用主动表示被动

Make sb. heared/understood (使别人能听见/理解自己)

have sth. done(要某人做某事)

1 satisfied   

adj.满意的，满足的；清偿过的；确信的，毫无疑问的v.使满意( satisfy的过去式和过去分词)

2 cozy
