Tonight the most popular vehicle in the country is under scrutiny¹. The massive recall includes nearly two million Ford² f-150s model, years 2015 to 2018, built in Michigan and Missouri.

Court says the devices that automatically tighten³ passenger seat belts known as pretensioners can generate excessive sparks when they deploy⁴. If you're in a collision or brake really really hard, our pretensioners gonna keep you tight in your seat belt. The move comes after safety regulators launched an investigation⁵ last month.

The f-series is the best-selling vehicle model in the US. This recall is expected to cost the company 140 million dollars.
