For years the advice has been chicken is better than red meat to lower your cholesterol¹. By eating more chicken I'm eating more healthy. But that may not be true. A small study suggests poultry² and beef can be equally bad in causing high cholesterol. But wait a minute, I thought beef was worse than chicken. And you're not alone, I think a lot of people have thought that, We've always been told that beef is gonna be worse for our heart health. But it turns out it's not the cut of meat, it's the saturated³ fat in those meats that causes problems.

Looking here you have fat here. You can cut off the chicken. If it has skin on it can cause issues as well. And there's another study challenging another adage⁴ about walking 10,000 steps every day. I try to get out every day and walk a little bit. Doctors say that 10,000 steps isn't based on scientific evidence. It came from a marketing⁵ strategy to sell pedometers. New research shows older women need only to walk half that distance to reduce their risk of death by 41 percent. Any little bit that you can do is good. Try for an additional 2,000 steps above what you're already doing. Don't fret⁶ about the 10,000 steps per day. Tonight one adage is still true: moderation in all things.
