 　　Not marble, nor the gilded¹ monuments Of princes, shall outlive this powerful rhyme; 王公大族的云石丰碑或镀金牌坊终将朽败，惟我强劲的诗章万寿无疆。

　　But you shall shine more bright in these contents 我的诗行，将使你大放光彩，

　　Than unswept stone besmear'd with sluttish time. 远胜过尘封的石头、暗淡的时光。
