 Leading our news this morning. An investigation¹ has now been launched into the damaging leak of documents from the officer of Defence Minister David Johnston. Used cost planning the minister recently spent thousands of dollars of wining and dining industry players who were seeking government contracts. This year on track to be the hottest on record, World  Meteorological Organisation⁴ has released figures showing in the first ten months of 2014. The global average in temperature was half of a degree celsius⁵ above the long term average.

 

And NASA is prepared to launch the first Space Capsule in 40 years. The unmanned vision is due to blast a matter of hours and it will be another test flight in 4 years before the first manned flight expected in 2021. NASA hopes the Orion capsule could eventually take the astronauts as far as Mars.
