 Leading the news this morning, the Senate has agreed to bring back temporary protection visas. The bill was finally passed early this morning by 34 votes to 32. In a deal to secure a cross-bench support, the government has agreed to release children from detention¹ on Christmas Island and increased the refugee intake² over next four years.
