Monday's planned train strike in New South Wales has been suspended in a ruling by the Fair Work Commission. The state government has been arguing against the industrial action, saying it will cost the state 90-million dollars, bring the city to a standstill and force elective surgery cancellations. The commission found the strike threatens to endanger the community and suspended industrial action for six weeks.
