A Nationals party internal document obtained by the ABC says the complaints range from "inappropriate behaviour" to more serious allegations". The document also says the WA party failed to protect the identity of one complainant. The West Australian party president says the document was never meant to be ma?de public.

Donald Trump³ is due to sign the tariffs into law tomorrow morning — Australian time — with Canada and Mexico likely to be exempt⁴. Around 100 Republicans have written a letter to the president urging him to change his mind.

The federal government will appoint a 'Women in Science Ambassador' to encourage more young girls to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering and mathematics. The prime minsiter made the announcement today, confirming the first ambassador will be announced later in the year. They'll travel to schools across the country, and provide advice to government about issues facing women and girls in the sector⁵.
