Police say a man shot dead by officers at Erina on the New South Wales Central Coast was making threats to set his neighbours house alight. The home where officers gunned down 45 year old Jason Pearce is being examined by forensics teams. He's said to have threatened police with an axe¹ while they responded to reports of a neighbourly dispute.
