Google announced that built-in ad blocking is coming to its web browser¹ Google Chrome in early 2018.

The feature will block ads that do not comply with the better ad standards as outlined by the Coalition² for Better Ads.

That means that Chrome will not block all ads just the most intrusive³ and annoying.
