On 30th June 1934,Hitler travelled to the shores of the Tegernsee in Bavaria and the health resort of Bad Wiessee.

Hitler didn't just killed Rohem, but at least a hundred others he thought opposed him.

But it all worked to his advantage, because now he'd apparently² dealt with disorderly elements in his own party,many Germans started to see him for the first time as leader of the nation,not just leader of the Nazis³.

On 2nd August 1934, just one month after the murder of Roehm,every member of the German armed forces was ordered to swear an oath of loyalty⁴ to Hitler personally.
