A:Guess what! I know something you don't know!

A：你猜猜。我可知道一些你不知道的事！

B:What's that?

B：是什么？

A :What is the tallest mountain on the earth?

A：地球上最高的山峰是哪一座？

B:That's easy. Even little boys would say that the answer Mount Qomolangma which is on the border between Nepal and China. According to the latest figures, the height of Mount Qomolangma is 8848.43 meters.

B：这个很简单。连小孩子都知道答案，不就是位于中国与尼泊尔边境之间的珠穆朗玛峰嘛。根据最新数据，珠峰的绝对高度是8848.43米。

A:Can you believe there is someplace/somewhere that is 304 meters taller than Mount Qomolangma?

A：你相信有一个地方比珠穆朗玛峰还高304米吗？

B:Really? Is it on earth?

B：真的吗？是在地球上吗？

A:It is mainly under water.

A：它大部分在水下。

B:I got it. It must be at the bottom of Pacific Ocean. Its name is Mauna Loa which is an active volcano on south central Hawaii Island.

B：我知道了。它一定是在太平洋下。它的名字叫莫纳罗亚山，是位于夏威夷岛南部中心位置的活火山。
