A:Is Water Shrinking¹ Festival official?

A：泼水节是法定节日吗？

B:No, most of the traditional festivals of the minority nationalities² are not official.

B：不是，大多数少数民族节日都不是法定的。

A:Don't you think these festivals are more interesting!

A：可是这些节日才更有意思呢！

B:What an idea!

B：对极了！

A:Hi! Li! How are you feeling today?

A：你好，李。今天感觉怎么样啊？

B:Great! You look in the pink. By the way, what's the day today?

B：感觉很好啊。你看起来非常健康。对了，问一下今天是几号？

A:It's May the 8th, 2009. This is the ninth year of this century.

A：今天是2009年5月8日。今年是本世纪的第9个年头了。

B:Yes. And this is the year of Ox. Next year will be the Year of the Tiger. Is it right?

B：是啊。今年是牛年，明年是虎年，对吧？

A:Yes. When is Mother's Day?

A：是。母亲节是几号？

B:It's the second Sunday of May. What day is today?

B：是五月的第二个星期日。今天是星期几？

A:Today is Friday. The day after tomorrow will be Mother's Day.

A：今天是星期五后天就是母亲节了。

B:What's up?

B：怎么了？

A:I want to buy some flowers for my mother.

A：我想给我母亲买些花。

B:That's a good idea.
