　　A:Good afternoon,ma'am. I'm doing some market research¹ and I am hoping you might have a few minutes to answer some questions.

　　B:Okay, sure!

　　B：好吧，肯定可以！

　　A:Great, thank you very much. First of all, do you own a personal computer?

　　B:Of course! Doesn't everyone?

　　B：当然有啦！现在这个年代谁又没有呢？

　　A:How long have you owned it?

　　A：您拥有计算机多长时间了？

　　B:I bought this particular² computer last year. But I got my first PC in 1995.

　　A:I see. And what do you primarily³ use your computer for?

　　A：好。您主要用计算机干什么？

　　B:Well,I use e-mail a lot,... um, I have a teach-yourself French program. And I shop on line pretty often.

　　B：哦，我常常收发电子邮件，嗯，我在用一个自学法语的程序，我还经常上网购物。

　　A:Mmm. Any other uses?

　　A：啤。还干别的用吗？

　　B:Keeping track⁴ of my bank account,and there are a couple of computer games I enjoy.

　　A:Now, you've mentioned e-mail and on-line shopping; do you use the internet for any other purposes?

　　A：刚才您提到了电子邮件和网上购物。您上网还干别的吗？

　　B:Not really. I haven't gotten around to explore⁵ it much.
