In Spain, the ultra-right Vox party made huge gains in the country's 2019 elections, entering congress for the first time.

Visiting Madrid in April that year, I was handed one of its flyers, which specifically targeted "supremacist feminism", "radical² animal rights activists³" and the LGBTQ lobby.
