　　This phrase implies that a person should back up their talking with action. 这个词组暗示一个人应该通过自己的行动来兑现自己的承诺；For example, a person may gloat about being capable of performing fifty pushups in one go.比如一个人宣扬自己能够一次做50个俯卧撑 However, someone who has their doubts might ask this person to "walk the walk," which essentially¹ means proving it to me by doing it, not just by talking about it.但是有人就会质疑，就要求那人去walk the walk，意思就是说用行动证明，而不只是嘴上说说；
