1、真实的/没夸张

一般来表达所说的事是真的。

【例句一】

There were literally¹ thousands of people in the street dancing after the team won the championship.

那个队赢了冠军赛之后街上不夸张的说有几千人在跳舞。

【例句二】

Graham literally kicked Janice out of his house. Like his foot made contact with her butt².

Graham真的把Janice踢出了家门，脚都踢到她屁股了。

2、加强语气

一般所说的事并不是真的。

I'm literally freezing to death in this weather. I mean I can't feel any part of my body.
