Tonight a wave of mud washing down roads in Southern California. A powerful storm turning city streets into rushing rivers. Flash flooding left drivers underwater. All the drains are filled and everything's full of mud. With snowfall forcing the closure of busy Interstate five outside LA, a mudslide shut down the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu.

Cliff's are coming down and there was like basketball-sized rocks. Just as drenching¹ rain turned roads deadly, a Southwest plane in Burbank skidded² off the runway. No injuries after grinding to a halt in an area design to stop runaway³ aircraft. Now after River rescues in Los Angeles authorities are warning hills just scorched⁴ by fire could crumble⁵ after so much rain.
