And when they do, it causes them... 那时  他们才意识到

to look at who they'll be when they die. 自己死去时有谁会陪伴在身边

The act of acknowledging your sins is terrifying. 你这种毫无忏悔的表现令人发指

But I've learned that it's better to be 我认为  即使不开心

honestly unhappy than dishonestly so. 也应该诚实  而不要虚伪

Well... 好吧

Then you know what? I'd like to confess 那么我就诚实地告诉你

that I am honestly unhappy that you're here. 在这里看到你  我很不开心

1 penance   

n.（赎罪的）惩罪
