 At his knock the door was opened, and the boy darted¹ in, and shouted, ‘‘Oh, dear Hirschvogel, except for the thought of you, I should have died!” 敲门声一响，门开了，男孩冲了进来，喊道：“哦，亲爱的赫施沃格尔，要不是想到你，我早就死了！”
