 I have forgotten to mention that, in many things, Queequeg placed great confidence in the excellence¹ of Yojo's judgment² and surprising forecast of things;  我忘了提及的是,在许多事情上,魁魁格非常相信他身上的这个木偶，凡事都要向它请示，

I had not a little relied upon Queequeg's sagacity to point out the whaler best fitted to carry us and our fortunes securely.  我没有一点依赖魁魁格指出最好的捕鲸船承载我们和我们命运的那份睿智。

But as all my remonstrances⁶ produced no effect upon Queequeg, I was obliged to acquiesce⁷;  但随着我所有的抗议对他雷打不动,我不得不表示默许;
