Officials said, the world's oldest man died Tuesday at the age of 112 after suffering chronic¹ heart problems.

Japanese Yasutaro Koide (pronounced "Ko-ee-deh")had said his secret to a long life was not to smoke, drink or overdo² it.

出生于日本的小出保太郎曾透露：长寿的秘诀就是不饮酒不吸烟，或者适量饮酒吸烟。

Koide, who was born on March 13, 1903, died two months short of his 113th birthday.
