CNN reports Huawei's founder¹ is striking a defiant² tone in the face of American attempts to curb³ the Chinese tech giant's international reach and prosecute⁴ his daughter.

Ren Zhengfei said in an interview with the BBC that aired Tuesday "There's no way the US can crush us,. The world needs Huawei because we are more advanced."
