 　　How like a winter hath my absence been From thee, the pleasure of the fleeting¹ year! 你是这飞逝年华中的快乐与期盼，一旦离开了你，日子便宛若冬寒。

　　What freezings have I felt, what dark days seen! 瑟缩的冰冷攫住了我，天色多么阴暗！

　　What old December's bareness every where! 四望一片萧疏，满目是岁末的凋残。

　　And yet this time removed was summer's time, 可是这离别的日子分明是在夏日，

　　The teeming² autumn, big with rich increase, 或孕育着富饶充实的秋天，
