The West Australian coroner has delivered a damning assessment¹ of the treatment received by an aboriginal² woman in custody³. Ms Dhu, whose full name is not used for cultural reasons, died in August, 2014 from an infection after two days in custody at South Hedland police station.

The White House has suggested that Russian president Vladimir Putin personally authorised the hacking⁹ of Democratic officials' email accounts in the run-up to the election. A spokesman for the Russian leader says the accusations¹⁰ are laughable nonsense.
