Nine Indian nationals accused of being "Commonwealth³ Games imposters" have been detained by Australian border force officials at Brisbane Airport. An airline liason officer flagged the group on transit⁴ through Thailand on suspicion they weren't genuine travellers. The man accused of arranging the travel, 46-year-old Rakesh Sharma, has been charged with people smuggling⁵ and falsifying documents.
