A Canberra man is facing up to six months in a US immigration detention² centre for overstaying his visa by just 90 minutes. 26-year-old Baxter Reid was reportedly trying to enter Canada when he was turned back and detained in the US. The family was contacted by Mr Reid's American girlfriend and said they had no direct line of communication to him.
