I can't top that!
（ 我胜不了）
I can't top that 这句口语跟I can't beat¹ that的用法是一样的。top是在最上面的意思。I can't top that.照字面意思理解是我不能达到最上面，也就是某件事已经是最好的了，你不可能做得更好了。

对话一：
A:What did² you do over Spring Break?
（你春假都干吗啦？）

B:I went to Las Vegas and won³ $10,000.
（我去了拉斯维加斯，还赢了一万美元。）
A:Wow,I can't top that.
（哇，我可没那么好的运气！）
