Ben: I swear I didn't lure¹ you here under false pretenses².

Anna: I know. A girl can dream, though. You're just too good a guy.

Ben: Well, we'd been together since college and she gave me an ultimatum³. She said, "Either we get married or we break up." So we got married.

Anna: Wow. You caved.

Ben: It's complicated.

Anna: Really?

Ben: What? You're a dick if you date a girl for too long and don't marry her. You marry her and you're an asshole for marrying before you're ready. I mean, shit, I don't know. You're really hot. And I am obviously attracted to you. So I think the best I can do is eventually find this piece of paper and call you and hope to just help you out in your career in some small way.
