Forbes has released its list of the top ten most overpaid Hollywood actors and there’s a new number one thanks to the box office bombs “Mortdecai” and “Transcendence”.

Johnny Depp pushed out Adam Sandler-who by the way, was ineligible¹ this year due to his Netflix deal.

Depp’s recent movies, “Mortdecai” and “Transcendence,” returned a meager² $1.20 for every $1 that Depp was paid.

Denzel Washington was runner-up, Will Ferrell came in third, Liam Neeson: fourth.

A-listers Will Smith, Christian³ Bale, Channing Tatum, Brad Pitt, Ben Affleck and Tom Cruise rounded out the Top 10.

Nowhere on the list was Harrison Ford⁴, who was reportedly the highest paid in the latest “Star Wars”.
