The FDA's re-evaluating its definition of healthy and what products are allowed to use that word on packaging.

And last year, the makers² of kind fruit and nut bars were told they could not be labelled “healthy” because of high saturated³ fat levels.

The company responds that fat comes from nuts and that by the FDA's definition salmon⁴ and avocados would be denied “healthy” labels that are granted to products like fat-free pudding and some sugary cereals.
