The Arkansas National Guard identifies the soldier killed during an apparent training accident.

As 33-year-old specialist Sylvester Cline, was assigned to the Guard's Company A 39th Brigade Support Battalion¹, 39th Infantry² Brigade Combat Team.

We're told the cause of Cline's death is under investigation³, but that it wasn't the result of a weapon or a vehicle accident.

The Arkansas National Guard releasing a statement saying, “Our thoughts and prayers are with the loved ones of specialist Cline, and we will remember him as a defender⁴ of freedom.”
