The 31-year-old Tunisian man who drove his truck through a crowd of Bastille Day revelers here in Nice had planned his attack prior to the celebrations.

The Paris prosecutor¹ saying the attacker had recently developed an interest in radical² Islam, but there are no elements in the investigation³ so far suggesting an allegiance to ISIS. The attacker’s uncle claims he had been radicalized two weeks ago by an Algerian here in Nice with ties to Islamic Insurgence⁴.
