福克斯新闻 纽约前州长艾略特斯皮策涉嫌性侵案件

Former Governor Eliot Spitzer has been accused by a Russian woman of choking her and tossing¹ her to the ground.

Police were sent to a hotel after the woman called 911 saying she cut her wrist.

Spitzer answered the door saying there was no problem.

Officers later returned to find broken glass and blood-stained clothes in the hotel room.

After the woman was taken to a hospital, she told staff there that it was Spitzer who attacked her after she said she was returning to Russia.

A spokeswoman for the ex-governor says the allegation is not true.

Spitzer resigned as Governor in 2008 in the wake a prostitution scandal².
